While you lose the deep strike flexibility of the Scions of the Storm, your redeemer units count as 3 models holding objectives in your territory. Turn 3 and after they count as 3 models on objectives anywhere on the board. Their Finest Hour: can be used only once by each hero to improve save and wound rolls by 1 for that turn. Heroic Leadership: on a 4+ (or 2+ if your general has been slain) get a command point only that hero can use. Plus, if you do get hooked on the game, you’ve got the added benefit that the Stormcast Eternals areGames Workshop’s highly-promotedflagship Age of Sigmararmy, consistently kept front and centrein the game’s main storyline – so you certainly won’tfind yourselfshort of support or model options in the future. The Stormkeep allows you to include Cities of Sigmar units as coalition fighters (1 in 4). In addition, the Redeemer units obtain bonuses when around objectives.

Reconnecting to the premise of this section, that Stormcast are a beginner-friendly army but with some considerations, you can easily see now why Stormcast are so good for beginners (wide range, many options, strong units, presence in every phase of the game, easy to collect and to paint) but how they can become more complex really fast (too many options, not all units are easily available, different weapon loadouts with drastic differences in performance, etc.). I do believe that it would be beneficial to swap the Sequitors for Vindictors who have a 3+ armor and mortal wound output. Since the army already gets a 6+ ward, having a 5+ ward during the combat phase does not seem as beneficial. They also would boost the range on the general’s warscroll spell which could be valuable in certain situations. The other reason is they cost 10 points less, opening the door for a triumph or just preventing your opponent from having one. Soon the skirmishing Vanguard Chamber started hunting down Chaos forces in the wildernesses of the Realms. And when Nagash released the Necroquake and filled the Mortal Realms with Death magic, the magic-wielding Sacrosanct Chamber entered the fray. There are even more chambers such as the drake riders of the Extremis Chamber, and some not yet revealed like the Ruination, Covenant and Logister Chambers. Keep him in reserve until the third battle round and then deliver Sigmar’s wrath upon his enemies.
