About this deal

Give it a try now with a similar division by 3. What is the Quotient and Remainder of 3600 Divided by 3? Here we provide you with the result of the division with remainder, also known as Euclidean division, including the terms in a nutshell: Even at 1440p, the 5800X3D was 65% faster, though the margin did shrink to 23% with the 6600 XT at 1080p. 23 Game Average The Cinebench R20 multi-core shows a very mild 2% increase in performance for the 3600X over the vanilla 3600. Very underwhelming difference – but could this be a good thing? – that doesn't justify the 25% price increase. Dying Light 2 is a single player title that relies heavily on GPU performance and therefore doesn't lean on the CPU all that much. In extreme conditions, the 5800X3D was able to improve 1% lows, but really the Ryzen 5 3600 is more than sufficient for this sort of title. So depending on the games you're playing the upgrade won't always be significant, or an upgrade at all. We'll start off with Cinebench R20's multi-core test and right away we're blown away by the R5 3600's output. Here it matched the Ryzen 7 1800X with just over 3600 pts. This made it 4% faster than the 8700K, almost 20% faster than the 2600X and 28% faster than the model it's replacing, the R5 2600.

But as we alluded to a moment ago, even for those building a new PC from the ground up, the R5 3600 looks like the best option. It smoked the Core i5-9600K in every single application benchmark we ran and worst case matches its single core performance. You get 12 threads opposed to just 6, so it's no doubt going to age better, but this time you don't have to roll the dice on Ryzen's longevity, as it's already faster today.

Personalmente mi sono concesso un PC nuovo dopo ben 10 anni e ne ho approfittato per rinnovare un pò tutto:

AMD's new 6-core CPU trailed the 8700K by a small margin in the Corona benchmark, but given the difference in price this remains a solid showing for the R5 3600. So if you've got 2-3 years out of the Ryzen 5 3600 and are now able and willing to go all out on the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, how much of an upgrade is the fastest AM4 CPU for gaming? It turns out, a lot faster, as we just saw and for those running into CPU bound situations, the 5800X3D will solve that while seeing you out for at least the next 2-3 years.

The 3700X does offer a small performance boost over the 3600X in Shadow of the Tomb Raider but the 3600X was only up to 3% faster than the 3600. So it's pretty clear by this point that in terms of performance the 3600 and 3600X are basically the same. Even with the Radeon 6600 XT installed, we're looking at gains between 90% and 100% at 1080p and even up to 60% at 1440p.
