It was a bit more of a plain flavour, a more basic, cheaper chocolate, almost. It wasn't off-putting, but could have been better. The breakability was good, though, the chocolate was a little thinner than the Cadbury egg and broke easily into lots of smaller pieces. If you're going out of your way to buy a Galaxy Easter Egg, personally I think it's only justified that you expect the chocolate egg to be made from Galaxy, not the same plain, underwhelming chocolate you get in all other Mars Inc Easter eggs. I was really disappointed because I had high hopes for this egg, and then I realised I'd bought an Easter Egg pretty much identical to the last, give or take the chocolate that comes with it.

The flavour for the egg was good, very similar to the chocolate you would find on KitKat bars, it has a sweetness to it but still a rich cocoa flavour. It was the second-best tasting chocolate egg, behind Cadbury, and was a nice surprise. Nestlé eggs used to be a bit underwhelming but it looks like they've improved the taste a bit. While Kit Kat bars do not contain eggs as part of their ingredients, it may be crucial for some people to consider other allergens that may be present. After a thorough examination of the ingredients, it is evident that there are no direct mentions of eggs. Kit Kat candies are egg-free as is further verified by the allergen information below. Overall, the weight comes to 233g - a 153g chocolate egg and two 40g creme eggs. At first, I thought the chocolate was a little less impressive than the standard of Galaxy that I know, but then I realised why. The chocolate egg itself is exactly the same as the Malteser egg.

Galaxy Enchanted Eggs

Cadbury is the classic staple when it comes to Easter Eggs. However, Mars and Nestlé also put out plenty of options for families to consider.

The Kitkat bunnies are quite nice, too. The chocolate is nice, like the egg, with small pieces of wafer inside them. Would I rather have actual Kitkats in the Easter Egg? Of course. But it's a nice addition that makes it feel more like an Easter egg. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the most common food allergens include milk, peanuts, eggs, fish, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat. I'd still give it a solid 7/10, just for presentation of the interior, the better value for money, and the chocolate on offer was still nice enough and enjoyable.
