About this deal

For the iPhone 11 Pro, the 256GB model should almost be the default. With its three rear cameras and ability to record from all the cameras at once, it'll be able to use up a serious chunk of storage in no time. 64GB just wouldn't be enough for the Pro unless you don't take advantage of the cameras, and then you might as well go with the standard iPhone 11. The 256GB storage capacity is available for both the Pro and non-Pro version of the iPhone, and it's probably going to be a strong option for a lot of users. Heavy iPhone 11 users may want to go with the 256GB size if they plan on storing a lot on their phone and capturing photos and videos on a daily basis.

iOS 15 has also added FaceTime improvements, SharePlay, better notifications, a redesigned Safari, and quite a lot more. We made a conscious decision last year to favor the iPhone XS Max for its battery life over the iPhone XS, but that's not as big of a deal here. Apple eliminated 3D Touch to fit in a bigger battery and the new display has more efficiency, so we're able to recommend this smaller iPhone to power users without hesitation. Here's what we didn't like: the most obvious night mode button is at the top of the app with a fluctuating number visible, denoting long exposure time for current lightning conditions. Tap it and an intensity slider shows up along the bottom to change the exposure time. It requires enough thumb exercises that you'll be thankfully to have the smaller iPhone 11 Pro. There is a night mode button along the bottom – sometimes. It's only there when the options menu is displayed.

The front-facing selfie camera has also had an upgrade, with resolution upped to 12-megapixels from only seven. Apple has also added its very own version of night mode, which I’ll get onto below. All three cameras on the rear are capable of recording 4K video at 60fps. Now I have one in my hands, however, my opinion has softened somewhat. The square camera bump isn’t quite as prominent as I first assumed it would be and the fact it’s part of the same piece of glass – just with a different finish to the rest of the rear panel – is actually rather clever. Arsenic Free Display, Mercury Free Display, Free of Brominated Flame Retardants, PVC Free, Beryllium Free, Recyclable Steel, Return System for Old Models It doesn't look different from past iPhones on the front, so it may seem hard to justify the price. But if you've been waiting for better photos and video out of a new iPhone, this is it – and that's arguably more important than a new look or 5G. The 512GB option is only available for the iPhone 11 Pro, and it comes at a serious hike in price from the base model. Most people won't need this much storage, and that's especially true if you plan to upgrade to the iPhone 12 in a year.Hands up: I was wrong about the iPhone 11 Pro. Or at least, the design. When I first clapped eyes on it I instinctively didn’t like the look of the thing. That trio of camera lenses looked, to my eyes, awkward – ugly even – peering like some three-eyed Harry Potter out of the rear of the phone.
