About this deal

Live Focus' Color Point and new Big Circles portrait filters make this the best selfie camera around As you’d expect from Samsung's technical leader, the Note 10+ has a very formidable specs sheet that reads more like a laptop's than a smartphone's. Powering the device is a new seven-nanometre Exynos 9825 chipset that delivers faster speeds (see benchmarks boxout) and greater power management than the impressive Exynos 9820inside the Galaxy S10 series. Equally impressive as the phone’s performance and battery life is the simplicity and responsiveness of the phone’s user interface. The Note 10 Plus uses Android 9 Pie – with an upgrade to Android 10 pencilled in for the near future – but with Samsung’s own One UI launcher placed over the top. T3 were pretty effusive about the Galaxy Note 10 in our hands-on review, and how its new compact design just feels right.Unfortunately the same can’t quite be said of the Note 10+, which is a rather unwieldy slab of glass and metal. Being completely honest, holding the handset for the first time is reminiscent of the engorged Galaxy S10 5G.

There's also one less button on the rails of this year's Note. The power button is now on the left side, as it's been combined with the much-maligned Bixby button. It's a good move. Oh, Bixby remains a completely mediocre voice assistant and the power button's move does take getting used to. But you'll be way more mindful of this new 'everything' button and quit mistakenly pressing it thinking it's volume down. But Live Focus Video is a bit too inconsistent to readily use outside of a "Hey doesn't this video look neat?" social media post. Unlike Live Focus photos, you shouldn't use this until the edges of foreground subjects are a little more defined. It's better than the very similar feature on the LG G8, but that's not saying a lot. As you’d expect from a new Note, the 10 Plus is among the fastest phones out today. Sure, last year’s iPhone and a few other Androids are a smidge faster, but that’s mostly about bragging rights at this point. The Note 10 Plus delivers on the hype of five cameras, with varying perspectives and superb performance from all, something we did find on the six-camera-lens LG G8.The 6.8-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus screen is so big that we're kind of craving the innovation of the Samsung Galaxy Fold and other foldable phones. The Note 10 Plus 5G shares the same specifications as the Note 10 Plus. The only difference is the addition of the 5G communication standard. AT&T and T-Mobile both expect to officially launch its 5G service later this year, but both are promising nationwide coverage by next year. The refurbished Galaxy Note 10+ is a top-of-the-range smartphone at a bargain price. This phone offers smart technology at its best. Why buy a refurbished Galaxy Note 10+? Verizon flipped on its 5G service in Providence at the end of July, making Rhode Island’s capital one of 10 cities that now have 5G access on Big Red's network. (Verizon claims that more than 20 additional cities will be added to those ranks before the end of the year.) But don't take that to mean that 5G connectivity is available throughout those cities.

Yes, we complained about this on the S10 Plus, but porting Samsung Notes off of the phone matters so much more on the... Note 10 Plus. Battery time is based on our own laboratory measurements, and may vary depending on factors such as device settings, usage patterns and operating conditions. It is also important to note here that the power button, which is left-mounted on the Note 10+ along with the volume buttons, now doubles as the Bixby button (more on that chap later). Update: Samsung has recently released some beefy successors to this model by the names of Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20 5G. Specifications & Features In fact, there’s so much stuff on offer here that it can be a little bit daunting at first. It’s clear that Samsung is trying to squeeze as many features into its native camera app as possible, but I do think that most, if not all, of these different shooting modes can serve a useful purpose. Although, I still don’t understand the point in a dedicated “food” mode, but perhaps that’s just me being a little bit old-fashioned. And, as you would expect, that hardware translated to a buttery smooth user experience in-app, in-game, and when navigating the phone's user interface. Lag and waiting is definitely not something that you have to deal with when using the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.
