this dehumidifier has 3 buttons on it. One to turn it of and on, one is a timer which we will get to, the other is the humidistat, which measures the amount of moisture in the air. Just because moisture in the air is bad, doesn’t mean that the drier the air is the better. Its about having the perfect level of humidity, which according to google is around 30-50% for comfort and health. The EverDri20EL also features a comfort humidity light on its front panel. When the light turns green the humidity comfort is just right. A red glow means it is too dry and if maintained a dry atmosphere will prevail. When it turns blue the atmosphere is too moist and therefore could lead to a build up of mould, mildew and damp. This seems like a pretty boring feature but it is so helpful, the Dimplex is on wheels so when its not in use you can have it pushed against the wall and when it comes to using it you can easily wheel it out to the middle of the room for optimal dehumidifying. It’s not deadly silent, but the noise isn’t by any means annoying. It’s almost like white noise, if anything it helps with sleeping. Is the Dimplex dehumidifier worth the money?
