About this deal

I spent quite a bit of time with the official Maps of Myrist book. The result is the addition of almost a hundred locations from the maps and the lore. Almost all the zones in Original EQ, Ruins of Kunark, Scars of Velious, Shadows of Luclin, and Planes of Power were updated. While running around, I also tweaked zone lines. I also had a space instead of a _ to 'to Sleeper's_Tomb' the file eastwastestwo.txt which only show as 'to' With all the maps through Gates of Discord done, and Omens of War almost finished, I decided to make a pass through zones in the subsequent expansions to standardize and clean them up. Biggest change to most maps is coloring the various levels of zones to make them easier to understand. Enormous number of changes in Depths of Darkhollow, Prophecy of Ro, The Serpent’s Spine, Underfoot, and Veil of Alaris maps. Add Label - Add a text label to the map. This allows you to mark a spot on the map that you feel is important. Generally this is done to mark a spot where an NPC. Completely remapped the Plane of Justice from scratch, also included all NPC’s. Added all the walls in the Field of Strife to the Plane of War map. Over the last few months, I’ve concentrated on the Seeds of Destruction expansion, completely redoing a number of maps from scratch. Including: Bloody Kithicor, City of Dranik, Field of Scale, Kaesora Hatchery, Kaesora Library, Kurn`s Tower, Old Bloodfields, Old Commonlands, and The Void. Kaesora Libary is still work-in-progress.

Catacombs of Dranik (C) – Added a few missing rooms not found on any map! Rooms were off a narrow hallway in SE area of zone. These are often best used to upgrade your player and companions and then either sell at the nearest town or in the case of weapons smelt at the smith's for crafting resources. When the Height Filter turned off, the entire map will be displayed. If the Height Filter is turned on the map will only display the number of units above (High) and below (Low) the character. You can set the Low and High setting to the numbers that suit you best. In some locations, such as tall buildings or towers, levels of the map too far above or below you aren't really useful, and may be very confusing so the Height Filter will help you to only display what is near you. The default settings for High and Low is 10.
