I have the 50mil spray version and I was surprised to read comments about it's weakness as it has very good sillage and lasts +6 hours on me.even a bit stronger than this would be overwhelming for me and I usually love sillage monsters! Now to the notes. I'm actually not sure what I'm smelling here, I'm getting vanilla, tobacco, musk, there is maybe just a tiny hint of coffee, to me this is not a floral but there is a slightly fresher edge to it so there must be... perhaps gardenia? Not sure, maybe magnolia, something really elusive in that floral aspect. Above notes state orange.... not sure, maybe dry orange peel in that case. LOL... I don't know what to say except to be careful not to apply too much. Dalal was one of the only Al-Rehab oils that seemed like a skin scent... but boy, it's strong. Especially if you use the sweet ones like Dalal in summer heat, please be considerate of others. The caramel note is more oa a caramelized sugar with some scorching to it, rather than a creamy sauce, there is some smokiness. I am sorry I forgot 2 review this til now. This almost reminds me of a very old school after bath powder they had in the 70s I think called ShowerADay? Some say perceiving Caramel, Orange and Sandalwood... I can't agree on any of that. I detect sweet but not a true Caramel, I do not smell Orange (thankfully) and the wonderful and powerful sandalwood is not detected by my nez. Sometimes powdey things have a amber/sandalwood vibe so perhaps that is what makes it "powdery". But my nose/brain recognizes powder and sandalwood as separate entities. From sweet chocolate candy to delicate powdery flowers with honey, to granny's penetrating rose soap with chewing tobacco, a gothic dentist, or simply a cowshed with mint.... there was really EVERYTHING.
