About this deal

No one knows, or he wouldn’t be allowed to stay, and even foolish Yue-shixiong haven’t had nearly enough power to change it. No, it’s better if he didn’t try. He stared at her for a long moment, looking into her eyes for an answer and then said, calm as if he had just had the revelation he was looking for: “You’ll never trust me.” Sauron didn't even turn to look at her: “You didn't say a word.” He said between gritted teeth. “Not a single word.” He repeated. He doesn't mind at all, helping out like this is one of the reasons he is visiting. Even if there is just a selfish search for a comforting place to sleep too.

She is used to having her way, she is used to having him yield to her in this, she is used to always having him within reach. She does not like this silence one bit.

Need Help?

There wasn't much to the plot honestly. I wanted to see some gripping action sequences and more magic because that's what I loved about the first book, it introduced such a unique magic system that was unfortunately left unexplored. The plot itself was very disjointed we open up where book one left off and find Amora Queen now and sent off on a journey to find a husband but really on a secret mission she hasn't told anyone about. Which of course also means we barely get any exposure of the other characters who made the story so great in the first book. YAY!!!! This is what sequels are all about, you guys!!! Thank you to Edelweiss and the publisher for the ARC! One aspect of this book that I really loved was experiencing different islands while Amora and her crew were on their journey. In the first book, it was hard for me to grasp the magical affinities of each island, but it did not feel as important this time around. With Amora's new law that anyone can practice any magic they wish, learning the designated magics of each island did not seem as necessary. It was very fun experiencing the people and scenery of each destination, and I wish there was more of that in this book.

Unfortunately, All the Tides of Fate was not as good as its predecessor. There is still some nice world building here. There is creativity with the magics, the island descriptions, and the Barracudas and Shanty are a nice touch. However, that's about where the good stuff ends. It’s a cruel punishment to hold our council meeting here, but no one says a word, likely thinking the same thing I am—one of us is sitting in the very spot where Father died.Barry was born in Torquay, Devonshire, England, in 1850. His parents died when he was young, and he went to sea at 13 after persuading his guardian and was in the merchant service for 12 years. But alas, here they were, on a mission forced to work together, a muscle headed idiot who didn’t listen just pushing through obstacles and scaring off the informers; a designated tactics who studied in depth all possible monsters, spirits and demons, by this point too exhausted to try explaining explaining anything to man who never listens; and one, supposedly the well organized man specializes in ensuring stability and safety in travel, who mostly his sits to the side, rarely putting out remarks that somehow made mood between two of his companions even worse... And yet somehow was a peak lord too. Appearing weak and helpless, dodging the gaze, man could not be less impressive. And yet Shen Qingqiu has to admit that even this man shamelessly covering behind them had better cultivation than Send Qingqiu himself. If only he would actually use it. Such a waste. With proper control and techniques this man could be so much more, but he chooses to cover and whine instead. Pathetic. He could do better. Blair, too, seemed frozen by her fear. In Fayt's mind, Luther had performed a wonderful job in instilling such an emotion, even into his own sister. Sophia knelt next to him. She'd obviously been concerned about him, but Fayt couldn't bring himself to look at her. He could only watch as the Creator glanced at them and laughed.

Disappointment flashed across Sauron's face. His shoulders tensed. And Galadriel felt a tendril of darkness creeping inside, the light around them slightly lost its brightness. No one gave a sign that they had noticed, and she thought she had imagined it, but then her eyes fell on the ring and her heart lost a beat. He wanted to go to his kind aunties, to cuddle with gentle ladies and have music soothe away those memories. But he was a peak lord now. Immortal master couldn’t be seen going to a brothel. First off, the amount of violence in these stories is a bit much. The blood lust displayed by the main character is disturbing and she never really seems conflicted about that. Wait.” She yelled but only the wind responded. He can't hear you he is probably miles away already. She spurred the horse to go faster but she had to slow down soon after because against all odds he was there by the river waiting for her. What are you doing!?" Blair asked. Worry, fear, and sadness filled her voice as she spoke. "You're putting yourself in grave danger by trying this while you're still projected into the Eternal Sphere! Luther, don't do it!"Surely he must know. Halbrand, Halbrand, she chants, Halbrand, Sauron, Sauron, my love, my only love, my greatest love. I abhor you. Shen Qingqiu had to admit that when they were like this it was easy to put aside all the inconsiderate actions of his foolish shidi. Liu Qingge was pretty tolerable as long as he didn’t speak. Galadriel places her hand over his chest, searching for the beat of his heart and its music is the same. He is Halbrand, he is Sauron, he is the Lord of Werewolves. She could tell the song of his battle prowess from a thousand harmonies. Now, the Moon is the biggest influence on Earth’s tides because of its proximity ― but it isn’t the only influence. The Sun ― with about 27 million times the mass of the Moon ― is always the gorilla in the room when it comes to solar system equations. But it’s a distant gorilla, about 390 times farther away than the Moon, which gives it a little less than half of the Moon’s tide-generating force. Yet it still plays a role. Her words force my lips into a thin line. Ever since I took the throne, there’s been no shortage of those who question my authority. But she’s right; confronting Visidia’s advisers as though I’m prepared to fight them will do me no good.
