A home-renovation project is interrupted by a family of wrens, allowing a young girl an up-close glimpse of nature.

The witch named Rumpumpel is the Little Witch's opponent. Her talents lie especially within the area of weather. She discovers the Little Witch at the first Walpurgis night and takes her to the head witch. When the Little Witch is told to become a good witch, Rumpumpel tails her and reports her good deeds to the witch council. We've attempted a few books after finishing Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, but nothing inspired even a spark of interest until a friend on here reviewed Little Witch, and I thought. . . okay, let's try that one. At least it's about a witch. Spells can be upgraded through finding grimoires of the same type rather than spending points on them, which encourages exploration. The game starts off feeling fairly linear, but an hour or two in the game starts providing alternate routes and shortcuts around the place, emphasising how the castle as a whole is all interconnected. It’s an interesting place to explore from a level design perspective, for sure, even though the environmental art can be a little samey at times.The Kleine Hexe (Little Witch) lives in a forest house, with only her pet raven Abraxas as a companion. She is 127-years-old, but still youthful in appearance. As Walpurgis Night (April 30th) arrives, she wishes to join the other witches in dancing. But she is still considered underage, and it is forbidden for her to join them.
