I love violet in every shape or form, but when it is paired with iris and earthy, balmy notes, it is at its best.Finally, the swirls of violet die down and the perfume calms down into a dry and balsamic ending in which the strength of the cedar with it's slightly sweaty touch continues to hum and the incense quietens down into a patina of cold ash and the slightest touch of a crystalline amber note and a quiet vanilla mingle with the remenants of the leather to form an extended coda of balsamic woodiness. If you do decide to put these blends on your skin (unable to resist the temptation) always test the blend on the inside part of your elbow first and wait. Incense and leather in front of a synthetic crayon-like oud and tobacco, with an animalic touch in the opening phase. It smells like Tom Ford Sahara Noir and Terry de Gunzburg Ombre Mercure mixed together, so if you like either of those you'll probably love this.
