The booklet was written in 1937, so please be aware that some of the language, and the worldview it implies, is not what we would expect or endorse today. There’s a description of the coronation ceremony in Westminster Abbey, much of which we’re likely to see repeated on 6 May, and the booklet finishes with a description of the King and Queen’s visit, when still Duke and Duchess of York, to Hull in 1928. A brilliantly informative title and the best way to brush up on your history of the British Royal family!
