The Calcio Match Plus is available in size 4 & 5 and has a striking Blue/White Graphic. This ball is still constructed using the revolutionary Hyperseam technology and will not take on water, making it one of the best value match balls around. As the quality improves through the range so does the outer cover, on the Calcio Match Plus ball the outer is enhanced to an impressive 1mm PU outer which gives the user enhanced durability and improved feel. Our range of Mitre footballs includes Match, Training and Specialist balls. The FA recommend the following ball sizes: Size 3 ball for age groups U7 to U9 . Size 4 ball for age groups U10 to U14. Size 5 ball for all other age groupsMitre size 5 footballs are designed to be used by those aged 15+ and are the standard full-size footballs used by adult professional leagues, clubs and teams across the world. Whilst it can be highly beneficial for younger footballers to train and play matches with smaller, lighter balls as they learn their craft and develop essential skills, players aged 15+ are usually ready to transfer that technique to full-size footballs. Launched in 2021 the all new Mitre Ultimatch Max match football has new striking graphics. This ball is also available in sizes 4 and 5 and continues to use the revolutionary Hyperseam technology. Designed for control and accuracy the size 5 Ultimatch Max ball has been awarded the FIFA Quality badge and is constructed with a unique 20 panel design. The size 4 ball is constructed in the same way and uses the same materials but has not been tested to gain the FIFA quality badge.
