my buddy at work wears Aventus all the time and I’ve smelled so many different batches of Aventus from him and L’aventure and CDNIM both smell exactly like some of his better Aventus batches and nobody can tell them apart, everybody asks me if we have the same cologne and I’m like. At this point, L'Adventure smells lovely, but it doesn't smell like my batches of Adventus (lacks the smokiness of my 2012 and the pineapple of my 2017). Went ahead and bought this one and the Armaf one as those were the clones people say were the closest to CA. it is just unfknblvble in every way from the moment it hits your skin till the moment you scrub yourself down in the shower with lots of soap and finally remove it.

Another one of their products ( Mercury ) is as stunning having bought that in Dubai this year as well. I like it that it does not have a pineapple in it as it is something that I do not like about Aventus and the clones. I would be absolutely thrilled with it if it lasted longer and projected a bit further than it does. Reminds me of stuff my Dad wore when I was growing up so perhaps a little dated, not sure if my son is going to like it! There are numerous clones of Aventus on the market and L’Aventure is head and shoulders above the rest.

Though it carries the same overall scent profile (for the most part, at least), it's nowhere near as potent or smokey as it used to be where a couple of sprays could easily fill up a decent sized room and last for hours and hours. You'd have to be doing a side-by-side shootout to really pick up differences, so for most people it will work just as well as Aventus but is much cheaper. Al Haramain L’Aventure Men EDP opens with a moderate projection of slightly sweet, citrus, woody, and resin notes. However on an EXACT side by side comparison L’Adventure completely blows Aventus out of the water now, in terms of a better more refined and stronger opening, and much stronger projection and much longer longevity. The opening is very acidic due to the lemon and bergamot, but it very quickly evolves into an elegant manly smell.

Whether that scent was the "King" Aventus or one of its many clones, I will never know but all I know is this is my favorite scent. It’s actually stronger but still not as strong as I would like but I just spray more since it is such a good value. and the funny thing is, it performed well when I first bought it in winter, at least for the first couple of days. When I first sprayed it, it smelled quite synthetic very lemony, the most citrusy out of all the Aventus styled fragrances I have smelled so far, so my first impression was “ oh no, this is gonna be a lemony mess of an Aventus " and while it’s not that lemon birch cleaning product opening that Club De Nuit Intense EDT has, it was still lemony, pleasant but unexpected as Aventus does not start like that, and it remained so for the first 30 minutes.

That would be my biggest complaint about armafs version, is that the bottle is pure black and you can never gage how much you have left.

But there's no point to it because in just a few minutes this will be gone and you'll only have the CDNIM.

As it stands, I have never even so much as been in the same room as a bottle of anything the house of Creed has ever produced. In my view, L'Adventure is close enough to Aventus (except for the opening) where it will serve well as an Aventus substitute in most cases. Seriously pretentious Frag heads may well be able to disassemble this and argue the toss about one slight nuance or another but for all intents and purposes people will think this is Creed Aventus. Well, the Aventus I got just last month was definitely a weaker concentration than I got four years ago. I couldn't understand how so many people can preach about beast performance while others preach about no performance.Perfumes are often designed with top, middle and base notes, and designed to smell different based on the time after application. This is a winner for me for fruity freshness, forgetting about comparisons this is a good fragrance with moderate projection and stays on my skin for hours it will perform a lot brighter and longer if sprayed on clothing to.
