The hammerhead piece is also printed and I look forward to seeing some creative uses for this new part. There are some very tiny pieces that are very easy to lose and some items you will need to identify against each other, but that is part of the fun. Davy belongs aboard his own ship, the Flying Dutchman (which hopefully will come to the POTC line someday as well). Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive. The minifigs look very similar to their movie counterparts - it is amazing how they do this with the same mold of plastic (body hands legs) and some kind of different head gear (hat, hammer head, wig and caps). While Connor is pleased with the realism I have to admit I think it could be a bit longer, and not sit quite so low in the “water”.

Some of us ‘ship-lovers’ could go a step further and use those paper templates to produce a set of real nice cotton sails. I very much appreciate the captain's special study room - that you can open and reveal the insides and the study - that was very neat.

Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places. You get 6 Minifigs (incl Jack Sparrow, Davy Jones, Mr Gibbs, William Bootstrap Turner, Will Turner, Hammer Head Guy), and that is a good crew for action right there! After 13 years of waiting, Davy Jones has come to claim Jack Sparrow for the undead crew of the Flying Dutchman. To make matters worse, the Pearl was released just a year after the 10210 Imperial Flagship, a formidable vessel which capture hearts with a fantastic design and a whopping 1664 piece count – a record for its time, and in contrast more than double of the Pearl. His presence in the set is a bit baffling, as far as I can recollect he was only aboard the Pearl in one scene, to confront Calypso in the brig.
