The movie’s no different, save for one, fundamental change: the tests in the film are a competition. Mark Hamill has probably had his fill of Star Wars fan questions, but hopefully, none of those fans ever tried to kidnap him and grill him at the same time. With The Secret Service it might be that I liked the movie more because Vaughn decides to take the premise of a gentleman spy movie and play it a bit more as a parody. Suddenly there is nothing to distinguish the two main characters, in actions or in looks, and some of the situations and sentiments start to veer towards cliché and triteness.Gary is put on an extensive three-year training course, performing various assassinations and apprehending a Colombian drug lord. Having dropped out of training for the Royal Marines, becoming a stereotypical chav and being arrested for stealing a car, Gary "Eggsy" Unwin's release is arranged by Harry Hart, a Kingsman and his late father's colleague.
