About this deal
This innovative bread box features a unique CondensControl technology ensuring your bread stays soft and delicious for up to two weeks longer!
I used to get muffins or bread for the week but to use it for the week some would have to go in my freezer. I purchased the Tupperware BreadSmart unit principally save disposing of bread due to mold occurring. I'm very happy knowing that when I have visitors over a long weekend that I can provide fresh bread for the duration of there visit (4 days is good enough for me).My opinion of bread lasting any longer would indicate its full of preservatives which I'm personal not keen on. Australia Post acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate, live and gather as employees, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community. I bought the Junior model but am disappointed that after two weeks use bread has started to go mouldy after 4 days with white spots and full blue mould after 5 days.
Specially designed ribs on the base also help prevent contact with breadcrumbs, reducing mould formation and stale bread. BreadSmart's revolutionary CondensControl™ technology reduces airflow and moisture, optimally ventilating and protecting against drying out and mould formation so that your bread stays soft, delicious, and ready to eat. The BreadSmart range features innovative CondensControl technology that sits within the rim and lid, ensuring excess humidity and moisture is released, preventing mould growth and creating the perfect storage environment for bread and pastries. I have sold Tupperware in the past and they honored the warranty, but apparently they have lost it over the years.Despite following all the instructions the bread remained soft but we can't eat it after max 4 days because of amount of blue mould. Tupperware have destroyed their Quality branding with the introduction of the Bread Bin, my experience is the Bread goes mouldy much quick in their Bread Bin, loafs lasted longer in the original packaging. I inspected the lids; and the pin holes don't seem to have much access to the outside air to allow t . I bought both the large and small BreadSmart, largely because of Tupperware's reputation - never again!
