About this deal

These hand drawn originals, including characters, vehicles and scenarios from the first three movies, were created to illustrate Random House’s 1984 'Star Wars Word Puzzles' book, and make for a quirky, yet stunning spread of images. Dan tots up all the figure releases from The Vintage Collection, Black Series and Hot Toys, before guiding us through what else has been announced in recent weeks, whilst the team are on hand to offer up their top picks from the whole bunch.

Join Jez, as he interviews lifelong fan and collector Paul Jason who has recently managed to get himself an incredible find of vintage Star Wars toys. And Jez, Dan, Craig and Stu also cover a variety of other Darth Vader items to ensure that the greatest film villain in the Galaxy is truly honoured. Craig drops in again to tell us about the Palitoy items that went beyond the toys and covers the advertising and point-of-sale materials the company continued to deploy to sell us those wonderful toys. Neon was in every toy aisle back then, so I have to accept that it managed to spread to a galaxy far, far away as well. Whilst Jez, with his alter ego 'The Running Stormtrooper', tells the tale of his Celebration running 100km whilst raising money for two children's charities.Welcome to a pilot show for a new format where each show will have a topic, a Top 10 countdown and the discussion prior to the vote. Its detractors are often quick to point at the bad dialogue, wooden acting and poor cgi, so why would Generation Skywalker dedicate a whole month to exploring a film most people are lukewarm about at best? Ron Salvatore gives his brilliant take on Anakin Skywalker and Mark Andrews, Will Mellish and Jamie Acott from Variant Villains give the lowdown on each figure.

With less than a week to go on their Kickstarter campaign, former toy designer Bob Brechin and art director Brian Hickey join Dan, Craig and Pete to discuss 'My Palitoy Story'. I’ve said it before on this site, but I miss the days where toys packaging came adorned with handpainted artwork. Only other versions I had bought had the “Beanie” part scrawled out with a permanent marker, which I’m guessing was down to legal threats from TY, who did Beanie Babies. And then there's the vintage collector everyone thinks of when you say 'Princess Leia' – Bruce White.

Cross referencing Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB ratings with our own social media polls, gives episode some wider context, even if the team doesn't agree on every single detail. The set comes with four figures, the first two of which are an Imperial Officer standing at attention with his blaster held up and an Imperial Naval Trooper firing at a target. The team also discuss swag, panels, cosplay, guests, evening entertainment, marriage proposals and everything in-between. Mark Andrews and Jamie Acott from the Variant Villains give us a great rundown of Leia Endor variations and the show is rounded off with an amusing rapid fire round which is far from rapid! She is Princess Leia, and here's one of two shows dedicated to the Princess from a Galaxy Far, Far Away.

Join us as we discuss the trials and tribulations of Hot Toy collecting, from sequel troubles to the dreaded customs charges. So, join Jez, Craig, Dan and Pete for some hot takes in a deep dive that covers teasers, international trailers and TV spots, and leaves no stone unlevitated. A little while back I covered the Star Wars Action Fleet Rebel Base Playset, and it’s about time I did the same for the Empire’s base. Jed pitches a Star Wars TV show, discusses 'Slashed' and tells us all about Chris Martin's curd joke. The Micro Machines Star Wars Action Fleet toyline was manufactured by Galoob and was inspired by the various vehicles of the cinematic Star Wars saga.Further back on the right side of the ship is a detention cell which can hold a couple microfigures.
