It sounded intriguing and I have bought it and will enjoy reading and experiencing curious insights into London that I never knew about.Henry Eliot is the author of The Penguin Classics Book , The Penguin Modern Classics Book , Follow This Thread and Curiocity: An Alternative A-Z of London . Its 26 chapters weave together facts, myths, stories, riddles, essays, diagrams, illustrations and itineraries to explore every aspect of life in the capital. And while the gargantuan size takes it a long way from the flimsy fold-up map I first received in 2011, it’s gratifying that the spirit of the project has not only survived but been allowed to expand and prosper to the benefit of anybody fascinated by London books and with space enough on their bookshelves for more. The book is attractive to look through, I expect others may have a more enjoyable read with this than I did, several reviewers have rated this highly. Being very environmentally conscious and interested in the sustainability initiatives of other cities, I was very impressed and this tour was by far my favorite one of all the tours I have done in Europe thus far.

We do not inspect any provider on the Childcare Register until it has been registered for at least 3 months unless we receive information about possible non-compliance. The escorted tour guide made you feel as he was a good friend taking you around a tour of his favourite city. However, the Social Ljubljana tour really provides an insight into some of the sustainable, ethical and responsible aspects of community and business life of this beautiful city.
