About this deal

This accessible, perfectly-observed story of divorce and life as a stepchild combines a big central theme with a short and easy text.

This is a great book for early readers who want to start reading chapter books, but who aren’t quite strong enough readers yet. The descriptions of the dolls are a very good feature in this though I do wish some more story telling could have been done between Lizzie and great gran. She has written over 70 best-selling books, and several have even been adapted for TV – most famously The Story of Tracy Beaker. I am not surprised it was a really good book because jaquline Wilson is a really good author and nick sharrot is a really phenomenal illustrator.

I thought lizzie zipmouth was one of the best books in the world when i read it, because I’d never seen anything like it.

That is, until she meets Great-Gran - a member of the new family who is even more stubborn than she is . sebagai ungkapan kekesalan dan ketidaksetujuan yang tak mampu dilontarkan, juga akan rasa ketidakpercayaan na terhadap ketulusan hati lelaki yang manjadi kekasih ibu na, lizzie mengambil keputusan untuk membisu. page 15 (Lizzie is talking about her youngest stepbrother, Jake, who plays with thirteen Beanie Babies and likes tea parties and knitting). Until she meets the great grandmother and she grows a really special bond with her that she even begins to talk! This is another short story, ideal for younger readers, that chronicles the difficulties faced by a young girl as she struggles to adapt to her new living situation, with her mum’s new partner and his children. Double Act won the prestigious Smarties Medal and the Children’s Book Award as well as being highly commended for the Carnegie Medal.
