The set list revolves around tracks from the international bestselling Nevermind album but anyone who thought global recognition might have seen the band polish up and bland out would be sorely mistaken - raucous, distorted and blessed by a vocal performance that veers from disdainful to hysterical, from opener 'Negative Creep' to the 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' that closes it, they're 100% chaotic punk rock energy. Plenty of the band's classics made the setlist and they sound as sleazy and gritty as ever on this recording. Regarded as one of the most influential albums of all time, it includes the tracks 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', 'Come As You Are', 'Lithium' and 'In Bloom'.

Punk energy and aesthetic ("Territorial Pissings", "Drain You") are its lifeblood; pop melody, harmony, and structure ("Something In The Way", "Come As You Are) its selling points; Kurt Cobain's roaring guitars and subconscious intellect ("Smells Like Teen Spirit", "In Bloom") its heart and soul. Nirvana’s self-titled 7 x platinum-selling posthumous collection Nirvana makes its debut as a standard single LP 180-gram heavyweight vinyl edition which will feature a download card. EX (Excellent): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality.

Sadly, lead guitarist and vocalist Kurt Cobain's death by suicide in April 1994 marked the end of Nirvana.Originally released in 1991, the album has been been remastered and re-released to mark the 20th Anniversary of its original release. It is a very real and raw recording from their show at Hollywood Rock Festival which was actually held at Paca da Apoteose, Rio de Janeiro on 23rd January 1993.

Repressed, remastered and redefined again and again, the Steve Albini-produced, mainstream-eschewing swansong has become one of the ugliest left-turns the 90's grunge scene ever spat up, and the subject of much heated internal fan debate over which is the definitive version.
