About this deal

once boiled, the water inside the kettle will stay piping hot for up to four hours, reducing the need to re boil every few hours when you need a brew. Water stays hot enough for tea for up to two hours, at around 80°C and hot enough for coffee for up to four hours after boiling, at around 68°C. We all need to spend less on electric and I can see after only a few weeks the positive impact on our energy usage this kettle is having. Cool to the touch on the outside, it will keep water hot for up to 4 hours, saving you time, energy and water. The Vektra Kettle has 18/8 grade stainless steel inside and out, the only plastics used on the product are the trim and handle.

Unsurprisingly – it's pointless and expensive, and the energy saved by switching them off could be put towards their astronomical kettle use.

With robust double wall stainless steel outer and keep cool sides, non-drip pouring spout, lever controlled anti-spill stopper and an ergonomic and secure handle for safe, easy use. This touch control base also ensures those who wish to drink certain teas and coffees can brew at the correct temperature every time, not all hot drinks should be made with boiling water. This gives the Vektra kettle a real advantage over standard electric kettles with a metallic body, as we know they can become extremely hot and may pose a risk to the user.

Electric Vacuum Kettle - Vektra

Bought this Kettle May 2018 and LOVED IT but after only a year and a half it has broken (it broke 2 days ago Oct 2019) so whilst this is an amazing kettle, I have to give it one star for its reliability. It stops wasteful boiling as it won't switch on until the water temperature has fallen sufficiently . statistics are correct, we Brits boil a kettle on average 1,378 times a year, which means over a year we spend more than 33 hours waiting for the kettle to boil. This is an innovative design and if you are going to pick the kettle up before it has finished boiling whilst steam is coming out, well what can I say? We've changed their names, just in case by including them in this column they achieve unmanageable fame, when they just want to live a normal life.
