The author switches between the two time periods effortlessly and easily which doesn’t always happen in these kinds of books. The Savior’s Champion is a dark fantasy novel written by Jenna Moreci in which a poor artist named Tobias finds himself competing in The Sovereign’s Tournament to marry a powerful woman, The Savior.

Firstly this book has a big cast of characters so with that being said, I highly encourage readers to keep a notebook writing down characters as you meet them. For all intents and purposes, she’s a trailblazer, and her second novel, The Savior’s Champion, is no different. In fact I highly encourage you to read this book because overall, this book gets a passing grade from me. Though I have not watched every single video that Jenna has ever uploaded, I’ve watched enough of them to be able to get her feelings on several key topics.Each storyline had a richness that was only strengthened by the comparison and contrast to the other. This is a gorgeous story about how life doesn’t always work out the way we want it to, but if we’re willing, we can still make it a great life.

He’s a hard-working villager and former artist’s apprentice that sacrifices himself regularly for his mother and twin sister, Naomi. Keep in mind, I had the kindle version of The Savior’s Champion, so I don’t know if the printed copies have a character list with their titles. It gets very confusing when the story switches back and forth between a characters name and then their laurel. If you take the second part, ‘tube’ and put your interest in front of it, there’s probably a niche for it somewhere on the streaming juggernaut. The story is compelling and holds no prisoners — and Moreci has a powerful voice that shows itself throughout the novel.This is the first thing I didn’t like about the book, however as bad as this small blemish may be, the easiest solution is for me to reread it and keep a character name list nearby. Plus, there’s a Big Reveal (trademark pending) that gets tossed into the story at the last minute that could have been handled differently. If you are looking for something more than just an average read, that you will want to engage with, then this is also something you will enjoy. Chaos ensues as Tobias quickly realizes that there was much more to this tournament than meets the eye.

The Savior’s champion” is an emotional roller coaster of a story, which unfolds in a non- linear manner. Some of the male characters are a little too good to be true but that doesn’t spoil any part of the story. The novel is filled with secrets, betrayal, loss, death, forgiveness, redemption, with love shining through. I know it sounds rather tedious but trust me, you’ll need it when you realize that the competitors in the Sovereign’s Tournament have two names.
