Despite being one band member down due to Covid we have incorporated other audio to bring you the best experience of the show as a whole. It was digitally released as an EP containing the "What the Future Holds" single and remixes from Cahill and Alphalove. Cautiously optimistic about the state of live music, the group announced a headline tour for November 2022 and although it’s been a bit touch-and-go as to whether the tour would be allowed to happen due to the pandemic, it kicked off on 2 nd November in Sheffield. A rousing rendition of ‘Deeper Shade of Blue’ led to a three-song encore of ‘Here and Now’, ‘Scared of the Dark’ and, of course, ‘Tragedy’.

What the Future Holds is the sixth studio album by the British group Steps and was their first album to be released with their new record label BMG on 27 November 2020. While the pandemic continues on, it was nice to feel a sense of normality for a few hours and feel the energy of a crowd. Something In Your Eyes premiered on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 Breakfast Show and has since been added to the Radio 2 playlist. Last night Steps brought the joy of live pop music back for thousands of people in Manchester and they put on a masterclass of what a live arena show should look like. As is customary for pop productions, there were a number of costume changes throughout the set with the group paying homage to looks from their past and trying out some new looks too. And now - just when we thought the show was a distant memory captured only by our shoddy iPhone videos - Steps have announced What The Future Holds Live; available on DVD, Blu-ray and CD this summer. On 7 September 2020, Steps announced that they would release their sixth album What the Future Holds on 27 November, preceded by its title track, in addition to embarking on a United Kingdom arena tour in 2021.
