Meanwhile, Jackson Snow is shown on the road and talking to one of his fellow lawyers, when he hears on the radio that both Charon and Becka are wanted for the attack of Detective Sawyer. Good Old Fisticuffs: Charon is apparently quite skilled at this, although it helps that she carries around a set of brass knuckles with the word "Bitch" imprinted on them in reverse, so she leaves "Bitch"-shaped bruises where she hits. Detective Sawyer is then approached by two more people, who observe the scene, and tells them to leave. But then Pamela's feud with snooty classmate Sylvia begins to get out of hand, and rumours of strange phenomena start spreading amongst the girls. Troubled Production: Based on the comments of various actors involved, Central Park Media handled the English dub (or at least the first 13 episodes) in a decidedly haphazard fashion. Magnum Opus Dissonance: The titular Utena is widely considered to be Rachael Lillis' best performance of her voice acting career ( The Movie especially), with approval from series creator Kunihiko Ikuhara to boot.Experienced author Birch – who has penned 12 previous novels, including Booker Prize finalist Jamrach’s Menagerie – deserves praise for the crescendo of suspense created in Shadow Girls. After some words of conversation, which ends with Jackson insulting Phil, Chrissy appears in nothing but a bathrobe, and says that she cannot sleep, and apologizes. Charon is an (in)famous figure in Innsmouth society but lavishes love and care on her daughter, who has turned out remarkably well considering the circumstances.
