The object of the game is to draw pictures in the sand and for your team mate(s) to guess what you’re drawing before your opponents beach you to it. It comes complete with a sketching tray (which has a very handy spill-proof lid), topic cards, a bag of drawing sand, marble scoring counters, sketching stick, a sand timer and a rules booklet (of course! They can dig tunnels, build structures, create landscapes, or even simulate natural phenomena like erosion and water flow. A good starting point is to use the "wall" element - which is activated at the start of the game - and set walls across the game area to control the path of the falling yellow sand, blue water, white salt, and brown oil. The concept I chose to work on (on Saturday late night) turned out more challenging than I pretended it is, and the game itself almost drowned in the sand as its main character.
