About this deal

Shortly after moving in, Nakayama found in a storage closet a strange package wrapped in oiled paper. The images are frightening And the collective story as well as the separation of the smaller stories tell an eerie and in some cases shocking beginning to this tale.

Coinciding with his similarly wicked and ghastly stories, Kouishou Radio [also known as PTSD Radio] is an ominous manga with Nakayama’s traditional sinister style of drawings and disoriented yet enticing narrative. For this reason, he put on hold the publication of further extra chapters involving his old office but not PTSD Radio itself.Masaaki Nakayama: Anyone who's been in a traffic accident, a natural disaster, a war—any situation where they were involved in an unavoidable catastrophe through no fault of their own or suffered in the extreme—will have mental or psychological wounds that aren't going to just go away. PTSD Radio has story and art by Masaaki Nakayama, with English translation by Adam Hirsch and lettering by Pekka Luhtala.

This time, the artist experienced a drastic drop in body temperature, in addition to the swelling of his entire face. The body is warped to such a degree that it begs the question of whether or not it actually functions as a body.

the artwork and imagery in this manga are lovely, they're interesting and kinda spooky even at times but the story is pretty choppy due to the short chapters and changing main characters in each chapter which i do find kinda sad since the story is pretty cool. The real problem started when the lock of hair was stolen from the container, used in a Ushi no toki mairi - a traditional Japanese curse ritual, and offered to "the hair god". Dare I make the comparison, but this manga reminded me quite of a bit of Junji Ito work in terms of artwork and themes. Nakayama continues to release chapters of his other horror manga, Fuan no Tane, or Seeds of Anxiety. It's like this vehicle for some much bigger idea, I think; this is no Junji Ito Sensor/any of the many hair related horror things he did.that it's the 40th anniversary of Tetsuo Hara and Buronson's legendary series Fist of the North Star. Heck, if even the author had to stop drawing this manga because he thought it was cursed, that should be an indication that you shouldn't pick up this manga unless you're fully prepared for what you're about to read. I'm not lying when I say ptsd radio has the scariest pages you will ever see, and you need balls of steel to actually finish the entire thing.

In Japan, hair is believed to harbor spiritual power—again, there's just something special about it.They look meaningless at first – or at least, one suspects that decoding them would be very difficult. A lifelong fan of anime, especially the works of Studio Ghibli, her hobbies include reading and drawing. The author indexes each chapter with the numbering style of radio frequencies, allowing him to denote occasions where plotlines carry over from previous installments, but this narrative succession struggles to add depth to the actual scenarios. Every page has a friggin' jumpscare, and every time I turn the page, I shiver in fear hoping the next page isn't gonna be another jumpscare. So I found these books because I was randomly suggested an essay video about them on YouTube and I haven’t read the books just yet but this is definitely on my up next list, the imagery looks so horrifying yet mesmerizing at the same time.
