About this deal

There were some bubbles and I noticed a spec of dust, so I was a little pissed off with myself for the rest of the day. I don’t remember where that minuscule spec of dust is anymore because there’s absolutely no distortion around it. Learn how to easily apply the Paperlike and get the most out of the new screen protector for your iPad. As such, many notetakers and digital creators alike have sadly missed the experience of pencil or pen on real paper. Whether you’re a student, digital artist, or professional, we’re here to make your iPad and Apple Pencil experience the best it can be.

Paperlike 2 with Nanodots: a Dream Come True for iPad The Paperlike 2 with Nanodots: a Dream Come True for iPad

Use the guide-stickers like shown in the video to align the Paperlike on the iPad before applying it. It faces the same issues as the paperlike when it comes to dust and bubbles, but it did seem to last longer.Center the Paperlike on your iPad and make sure it has the same distance from the edge on all sides. If your focus is on screen protection only, have a look at our list of alternative screen protectors. If one corner of the Paperlike keeps peeling off, it is most likely that the Paperlike is not correctly placed, and that corner sticks out a bit making it easy to lift it accidentally. We created the Nanodots ® Surface Technology using an additive process, instead of the reductive one from the Paperlike 1. Just clean your Paperlike regularly with a tiny bit of dishwashing soap and a damp towel (you can use the dry wipe included in each package).

tried three paper-like screen protectors. Only one [Review] I tried three paper-like screen protectors. Only one

Both the iCarez and the Paperlike came with guides and stickers to perfectly align the protector to the glass, but the ELECOM one didn’t. If you're encountering that issue, please apply the second Paperlike and follow the application instructions.

Tip: stick part of the guide-sticker on the desk, then push the iPad sideways, which will apply the guide stickers on the back of the iPad. Place your Paperlike onto your iPad with side 2 facing up, and make sure the home-button or face-id are not being covered by the Paperlike.

Colour diffusion is ever so slight, and the minute ‘dampening’ of the screen's vibrancy is a small tradeoff for what you gain in terms of tactile quality. I’ve been using the ELECOM screen protector for about a month now, and the matte finish hasn’t noticeably worn at all. Featuring the same great stroke resistance and friction you’ve come to know and love, the Paperlike 2.

The hot steam binds the floating particles, so they sink to the floor (that’s why your bathroom floor is dirty all the time). It by no means stops anyone making or creating, but after trying a fair few drawing tablets, and pen displays made for the act of drawing, the textured surface they tend to have always wins hands down in terms of drawing experience. This weakness of the iPad is evident in the fact that the many other drawing tablets and pen displays made for and used by artists and designers feature a matte surface, or an anti-glare, textured screen cover. Paperlike’s texture is neither too textured nor too subtle – taking into account an iPad’s multiple functions, i. These two tools, in combination, turn the iPad from a mere luxury multimedia device into a veritable beast of a tool for business users and digital creators.
