I didn’t find the differences between the modes as pronounced as some other brushes but I think there’s enough variety to find a mode that’s right for you. This sensor goes further though, because it will show you when you are applying insufficient force as well as the correct amount. The Series 9 is available in rose quartz too, whilst the iO7 can be purchased in electric blue colour. A second, lesser powered mode such as sensitive is a welcome addition for new electric toothbrush users, or those with gum disease or sensitivity.

I know the iO6 doesn’t include a 3D tracking image in the app and I know the iO9 provides more detailed tracking (16 zones), but does the iO6 still track which surfaces you have successfully cleaned (inside, biting surface, outside) for each quadrant? That said i also want to share with your readers my personal view on toothbrush and touch on something you said before. Following along in the app, you get a timer and a real-time look at the areas you haven't brushed yet. The “3D teeth tracking” takes the position detection data from the brush and presents it within the app in an even more detailed form, so that you can see which surfaces of your teeth (outside, inside and chewing) are being missed the most. But yes it does also in addition have the 3D teeth tracking within the app, which means it is tracking more areas of the mouth as your partner brushes.
