About this deal

This does make loading a little different, but I will get onto that in the loading and firing section. Launch each round with calculated targeting, or inundate opponents by unleashing all 30 rounds rapidly with slam-fire action. The Artemis was the first RIVAL blaster to be named after a female Greek deity; both the Hera MXVII-1200 and Nemesis MXVII-10K followed suit later that year. This is probably the sweet spot in the Rival range right now, and certainly the best option for the stealthy approach, thanks to its lack of motor noise.

So yeah slam firing 30 rounds or Rival ammo only takes about ten seconds and is as much fun as you thought! The weapon is made of durable plastic and can be easily modified with rails and other attachments that can be attached to the blaster.

Sure, you don’t get rapid automatic firing from a springer like this one, but to counter that you don’t have to worry about motor whirr giving away your position. Another thing you’ll notice if you’ve upgraded from a NERF dart blaster is that Rival rounds just don’t seem to jam. The Artemis is a solid spring-powered blaster, and a great way to get into the joys of NERF’s Rival series. The Artemis XVII-3000 is named after Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, forests and hills, the moon, and archery. A brilliant all-round blaster that serves as a perfect introduction to NERF’s impressive Rival series.

NERF Rival Artemis Review - We Put The XVII-3000 Through Its

It features one very long tactical rail on top of the blaster and another on the side, giving plenty of room for add-ons and attachments. The Rival Artemis comes out of the box completely assembled, and because it’s spring-powered there isn’t even the need to add batteries. Pump the priming handle back all the way and then forward again, and you’re ready to fire – if the safety’s off, of course. So when you prime it the barrels rotate like a Ferris wheel and the spring-loaded magazines push the rounds forward from the magazines. The trigger lock and tactical rail provide a safe and reliable mechanism, while the capacity of 60 shots ensures that you can have a lot of fun with your friends. It has enough ammo that you are unlikely to run out in a single melee and it is easier to reload than it is to reload a magazine (especially the one like the Khaos! This process makes for a smooth shooting experience, which is why you never experience jammed loads. The speed and accuracy with which the Rival rounds pop out is going to be quite a revelation if this is your first step up from NERF’s dart-firing blasters.
