About this deal

Our easy mai tai recipe uses dark and light rum, so you get the best of both worlds in terms of flavour. They've got the taste and the sweetness of the juice, but in the fizz, but there is slightly less sugar in there and amazing. I think, you know if more wholesalers took this on, I think this would be a big deal in just simple serves.

Dark or white, spicy or sweet, find your favourite recipe and become a marvellous mixologist with our top tips. It's tart, sweet and so brightly red with grenadine that we can spot it from the other end of the bar. But if you like drinks like Mai Tai’s and things like that, you can kind of lengthen it out with that, but just try it, try it with just rum, Muscovado, maybe a wedge of lime or something like that, absolutely cracking.

Filming this in the 1st of October 2019, we tried it way back in July at Imbibe at a big Bar show, but it's only just being released in the big major wholesalers. It's the Smoky Ginger Ale, but the one I want to focus on, it's the Spiced Orange, because the flavour profile of that goes amazing with a Rum and Spiced Rum. In the Spiced Gekko it makes a lovely, simple drink working well with the ginger ale and coming through for a really refreshing summer cocktail.

Turn it into a tropical punch for party season, a three-ingredient classic or a smooth, sophisticated daiquiri. Kind of big, obviously it's just the sort of a pineapple fizzy, I’ve had an equivalent pineapple Fanta. The Cocktail Lovers magazine is packed with features, fashion, food, travel, interviews, news, recipes – all written from a cocktail lover’s perspective.
