Ingenuity’s Beanstalk 6-in-1 Highchair is durable, washable, and can grow with your baby from infant to school age. The top of the high chair tray sits about 28" off the floor, which is a great height for most dining room tables. A high chair fills so many different purposes: it is a place to eat, a place to play, a place to explore when starting solid foods, and a place to sit at the dinner table and socialize with the rest of the family. A few small things about cleaning: when the tray is removed it leaves a little cup-like spot that collects food and liquid, and is a pain to clean. It could benefit from more adjustability for the tray and overall height, but it is overall easy to clean, versatile, safe, and stable, and a good height for most dining room tables. The tray snaps on just as easily: tilt it up and put the two ends into the slots, then lower the front of the tray down into position. If you're looking for the perfect high chair to attach to your dining room chairs, this is the one to get!

Third, it can be used as a (rather uncomfortable) booster seat toddler's chair that is still attached to the legs and wheels, as we mentioned. How cool is that to be sitting around your dining room table and get to have your infant high enough for them to see and for you to still interact with them during family dinners. From opening the box to feeding your child, assembly takes about 5 minutes, and no tools are required.

So that gives you some nice flexibility: rather than purchasing a separate play table and chair for your baby or toddler, you can simply reconfigure the high chair. If this is a deal-breaker for you though, I still recommend sticking with the Ingenuity brand but choosing a different model. First, the foam padding on the seat is completely removable and washable (as is the harness), which is super helpful after a food disaster or diaper blowout.

The simple design makes it easy to clean with minimal nooks and crannies to capture and collect food, no cloth cover to become crusty and dirty, and it also has an antimicrobial finish to prevent the nasties from building up on the wood surface. The Ingenuity uses a clever design to switch between the 3 stages, with the high chair seat itself attached atop the booster part, and the booster part permanently attached to the legs and wheels. The chair is easy to clean but i did not assemble, my husband did but it did not take him very long. Full disclosure: Some of these high chairs, including the Joovy, Inglesina, Ergobaby, and 4Moms models, were sent to us as free test samples by the manufacturer.

The rambunctious 3-year-old boy who tested the big-kid chair was able to easily climb onto and off of the chair without assistance, and it remained stable despite his (seemingly) best efforts to topple it! Cons - wide base means stability but also takes up a lot of space and it's not foldable and also not easy to transport in a car without full disassembly. Switching to different high chair modes involves all snap-on pieces and does not involve any screws for easy accessibility to switch out or change.The more upright your baby the easier to swallow and the less likely they will get indigestion and gas during or after eating. The ZOE seems to have been discontinued this year, so this review only applies to the Evenflo model. Assembly took about 10 minutes and we tested the high chair with a 6-month-old baby and a 14-month-old toddler.
