Guinness Draught Alcohol Free | Morrisons

Veteran Guinness drinkers will most likely be able to tell which is which, but as alcohol-free alternatives go, our tasters thought Guinness is onto a winner with the 0. Each pint takes so long to dispense on the micro draught system it will prove impossible to serve enough on a busy night.

Sure, there are some great stouts out there, but nothing comes close to the taste of the black stuff from St James’s Gate in Dublin.

I’ve heard the same from a couple of other people who had Guinness many years in the past, I suppose tastes do change with time. The cold filtration process allows the alcohol to be filtered out without presenting thermal stress to the beer, protecting the integrity of its taste and character. I drink wine but wanted to cut down as although I don't drink more than the recommended amount each week I do feel the need to limit my alcohol intake. We thought it smelled a bit moldy, only to come here and read that was one of their initial concerns.boasts the same beautifully smooth taste, perfectly balanced flavour, and unique dark colour of Guinness, just without the alcohol.

If you do require precise ingredient information you should consult the manufacturer, whose contact details will appear on the packaging or label.Looks exactly the same and apart from a bit of an after kick Im pretty impressed and drink Guinness a lot. Both tasters identified small nuances that enabled them to distinguish two different drinks, but the regular Guinness drinker was the one who could consistently tell which one was the Guinness Draught. Tropical fruit sweetness when we taste, with more citrus coming through and bringing in the bitterness, along with some earthy notes free-beer. Really nice the best alcohol free beer I’ve had and I’ve had loads of them, very close to original always being a fan of Guinness, 10 out ot 10 from me, good value, a repeat purchase, keep up the great work Guinness.

Now, I don’t know… My German fave, St Pauli, comes through 200%- and the Heineken I get in restaurants – same thing. Last week Guinness released the first alcohol-free version of its famous Guinness Draught, and we cracked open some cans to find out how it compares. A commitment to retaining the distinct character and taste of Guinness was central to the four-year process led by the technical and innovation teams at St. On the all-important matter of taste, both tasters were very impressed by the flavours of both drinks.

I’m sure after a few pint of the real stuff you probably won’t know the difference but I’m not sure that’s the market it’s targeted at.
