About this deal

This book is all about keeping your vibrations elevated regardless of the circumstances you are dealing with. Thinking about this rationally, we can all agree that if you view the life in front of you in a positive way, you’re going to determine your life to be positive,” King says.

We also participate in other affiliate programs, such as Blinkist, MindValley, Audible, Audiobooks, Reading. The book is an easy read, but misses some deeper explanations, it is overly simplified where the author has some utopistic claims.

When she's not writing or learning more about marketing, she loves to dance and travel all over the world. If you’re spending your days with negative people, studies show that you too will feel and act in a negative way. When this happens, it can be easy to let other people’s needs take precedence over yours—but if you don’t set boundaries around what’s okay for you, others will continue to take advantage of that generosity and exhaust you. This book lacked any depth of explanation and I felt like it was spouting toxic positivity on every page. I feel like my vulnerability when sharing my experiences, encounters and feelings on my platform has provided a voice for a lot of silent souls who couldn’t be heard before, or couldn’t express how they felt.

A beautifully designed book full of inspiring quotes and tried-and-tested wisdom on using positivity to create a life you love. A lot of the quotes are ones that I will always remember and this is the sort of book that you cannot read just once, I'll always come back to different sections of the book. I also liked the fact that the author has not belittled the impact of these things but has rather discussed the situations which he faced in his life and how he dealt with them. It also talks about how we need to improve our ways of thinking and doing things, so that we’re more aware of our limiting beliefs and change them for better outcomes. With this book, Vex will show you that when you change the way you think, feel, speak and act, you begin to change the world. A delusional person will see any information that counters their poorly manufactured sense of self-esteem as a threat and will defend it, both internally and externally, because their entire understanding of their worth relies on it staying intact. You open the Instagram application on your mobile device, scroll down the feed, and suddenly come across your high school classmate’s picture. Let’s imagine, for a moment, that your beliefs are the seeds that take root in your unconscious mind. The vague advice of telling somebody not to settle for mediocrity leaves them in a continuous state of dissatisfaction and ingratitude as the standard for mediocrity is never declared.

Time is precious and you should be investing it wisely by doing something constructive that will make your life greater. Jay Cronley (1948 - February 27, 2017) was a former columnist for the Tulsa World and the author of many works of humorous fiction. Not sure why I completed this book, probably because I was hoping that there will be something great in the following pages. If you are dangerously overweight and convince yourself to ‘accept yourself as you are’, then you rationalise yourself out of the motivation to actually lose that weight. Inwardly this manifests as denial of character flaws, avoidance of taking risks, and giving up with tasks quickly with a ready excuse to rationalise failure.

Good Vibes, Good Life is a book about manifesting what you want, living meaningfully, and appreciating the little things. We are a vulnerable bunch of humans trying to carve our way across the stretch of unexpected landmines (emotional outbursts).
