In the book they do not go many other places, but other places are mentioned for example the destination they are heading to. But I didn't expected this book to be this emotional in the end because I thought it will be just another thriller mystery. Arriving too late in the bookish calendar to be featured in our best books of 2022 list but certainly worthy of inclusion, Holly Jackson’s Five Survive is a fast-paced, keep-you-guessing standalone thriller that pits six friends stuck in a broken down RV against a vengeful sniper. but the reason i gave it 4 stars is bc the story goes so fast and it’s incredibly enjoyable even with some of the characters driving me crazy and i actually quite enjoyed it. Set in a real-time eight hour narrative, this is a masterclass in building tension and keeping it right up until the final page.This thriller is a fast-paced, nobody-is-safe and anything-can-happen type of book and I devoured it. I do wish we got to see more of Arthur and Maddy’s personalities, but I understand that it was important for them to not be explored in depth until the end for the sake of the plot, and the reveals definitely made that worth it! Buried secrets are forced to light in the cramped, claustrophobic setting of the RV, and tensions within the group will reach deadly levels. If you love true crime, murder mysteries, and unstoppable young women, this is the perfect easy-read thriller.

I was fully invested, if I had more time on my hands it would've been the perfect book to binge read in a day. I also loved how fast paced this is, because I really wanted a book that was fast and quick, which this was, though it was a little confusing at times, like with some of the plot twists I had to really think about what was happening.Now twenty-three years old, she and her fellow Naturals have taken over running the program that taught them everything they know.
