The product comes with incoming and outgoing cable clamps and three plate terminals with separate terminals for flexible cords. Live, neutral, earth and switch live need to be separated and individually manipulated into the correct terminals, then screwed down to fix into place. The lights are double insulated so I wasn't planning to run an Earth (and there is no terminal on the casing). I've just realised though, I'm not clear on where to actually connect the first downlight to the existing light switch.

BTW, at this point, I'm not sure if I'm going to switch the downlights on using the existing switch for the ceiling rose which I'll still be using for another light.Someone has suggested it needs to be put somewhere on the ceiling such as next to the ceiling rose but surely that spoils the appearance?
