Another exciting read from this author brilliant can't wait to see if there's another one in the series. This is a well-written and involving drama with a compelling and very exciting ending, and I congratulate Ms Burnside on yet another brilliant novel.During that time she had many articles published in well-known magazines and went on to run a writing services business before focusing on her novels. In the following weeks, Gilly increasingly becomes obsessed with Maddy, particularly when she starts dating Aaron, a successful businessman. I received this book from NetGalley and the publisher but I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review. I couldn’t wait to see a certain character get their come uppance and if the author wanted to create a character that readers just hated, then job done here. In the blink of an eye her world suddenly starts to fall apart and the husband she thought she knew so well is the one who makes her world crumble before her eyes.

Guilt: A totally addictive and gritty crime thriller (A

She manages to get on with her life marrying Brady, she seems to have it all a husband who adores her and a promising career, but when Brady finds out the truth about the day she was attacked the man she thought loved her no matter what blackmails her leading to bankruptcy. As always the author has delivered once again, and this is one of the best in the working girls for me to date, so much going on as you read, and so many are guilty as you read on then tou see the twists, fantastic read right through. I have loved each and every book in this series and couldn't wait to start reading this new instalment. This is the 30th book, but considering Alex has survived "Kill Alex Cross" before, chances are he survives this one.A brilliantly written book with plenty of drama and tense scenes that will have you on the edge of your seat. At the opening of the story, Maddy is a respected journalist that usually interviews whores in a decrepit pub in Manchester.

Blackmail: A completely unputdownable gripping and gritty

I’d like to thank Head of Zeus, Aries and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘Guilt’ by Heather Burnside in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Heather Burnside’s novel “Crystal” introduces the protagonist as a working girl that had been through a terrifying ordeal. I personally would class this as Urban Crime which probably suits this series better but who cares about the genre/label when it is great writing that really draws you in. As Beth moves on from her trauma with new husband Brady , she seems a happy, successful career girl.Heather Burnside introduces “The Working Girls” series with “The Mark,” a brilliant and shocking novel. Is brady all that he seems a loving husband or out for all he can get her home and self respect and what did happen all those years ago .
