These desktop humidifiers came up in my searching so I thought I'd try one out and I'm happy to say this one works perfectly. The humidistat in my enclosure was hovering around 25% before, but as long as this is running it gets up to a comfortable 55-60% humidity. A huge improvement, it made the plants quite happy I think.

Tabletop humidifiers are designed to humidify a single room. They’re lightweight and easy to carry around, and usually have a removable water container.However You have to refill it pretty often, and even with using filtered water the minerals/white dust clog the vapor mechanism after every use and will stop it from working. I use a q-tip dipped in vinegar and have to clean it out after every time and refill it 2x/day. (Once in am, once in pm), so I guess that’s not too bad? You only have to fill up the tank once a day and it’s a doddle to clean. The release of mist is much more consistent than with some cheaper machines (and even some more expensive ones), but be warned that the mist can cause dampness on fabrics, so keep it away from curtains and furnishings. That aside, this humidifier is hard to beat for the price.
