About this deal

Thanks for sharing your research! I have tried OCM in the past, and because I have so many thousands of closed comedones every square inch on my face, the cleansing inevitably causes the dirt and sebum to be expelled in the form of grits. The problem is that these grits keep on coming, so the 30-60 sec massage doesn’t really cut it. I have tried one round of OCM followed by wiping it off with a face tissue, followed my another round of OCM and washing it off with a microfiber cloth, but the grits still keep on coming. One time I got so frustrated that I kept on massaging my face for around 40 mins, and that inevitably led to some serious skin burn from all that abrasion that I have never recovered from. I use a moisturizer with SA in it but the CCs just never go away. I looked up CosDNA for my makeup and sunscreen, and they aren’t really a concern. In fact, my mineral powder foundation from Mineral Fusion actually helps my skin. I really don’t know what to do about my hideous whiteheads and my hormonal cystic acne.

In short, ditch the coconut, olive oil and other oils that are either comedogenic or high in oleic acid! Good choices for each skin type: Lavender essential oil is a useful cleansing agent with both antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. This can help soothe inflamed or irritated skin, reducing redness.

The best cleansing oil will have no problem melting make-up and impurities in one go, so no need to remove your make-up first. Simply massage in the oil to gently dissolve make-up before rinsing easily away with warm water. Simple® Kind to Skin Hydrating Cleansing Oilgoes super easy on delicate eyes and needs no harsh rubbing to do its job – nope, not even on stubborn waterproof mascara! Do: Look for the right cleansing oil ingredients While those with oily skin can benefit from the drying effects of traditional water-based cleansers, oil-based cleansers can also work to cleanse oily skin. Double cleansing is particularly useful for those with very oily skin as they can benefit from both the effects of water-based cleansers and the moisture balancing effects of oil-based cleansers. Sensitive skin Note that you do this on a dry face, with enough oil to easily massage your face. Also, you really need to give this at least 30 seconds (1 minute is optimal), because this enables the oils to properly dissolve the excess oils, dead skin cells and everything else that should come off your skin. Step 3. COVER THE FACE WITH A WARM/LUKEWARM WASHCLOTH Most major skin care brands offer at least one oil-based cleanser. These cleansers are typically formulated using a mixture of oils such as argan, rice bran, rosehip, camellia and more. DIY oil cleansers

Those with sensitive skin and inflammatory skin conditions like rosacea should avoid cleansers with fragrances and simple alcohols. How to Choose an Oil-Based Cleanser for Your SkinA cleansing oil is a product designed to remove makeup, excess oil and other contaminants from the surface of your skin. It helps keep your skin clean and improves your complexion without disrupting your body’s natural balance of oil. Oil-based cleansers Also, using a high linoleic acid oil (such as hemp seed oil) as a moisturizer on small patches of your skin to test out how you react can be a good idea to do before you actually start to oil cleanse
