About this deal

Much much wider soundstage on the E3000! Better depth too. Generally more holographic. This is a night and day difference compared to the Zeros which are fairly intimate and 2d sounding.

The company is also coming up with its inaugural earbud, christened the Baijuyi. Technical Specifications The Salnotes Zero is an excellent value for its price range. It outperforms other IEMs in the same price range by a significant margin. The sound quality, build quality, and design all make the Salnotes Zero stand out from its competition. In some songs like Zaalima the Instruments separation is bit weak but in other songs instruments separation is good Fit is the biggest issue with the BL-03, due to their very short nozzles. Most consumers struggle on this front and need to resort to aftermarket longer ear tips, or mods, to optimize the ergonomics. Essentially, this translates to added cost. Vs. 7Hz Salnotes Zero Oh wow! 7hz actually CAN make comfortably shaped IEMs! These nearly disappear in the ear, no weird, concha-challenging curves to be seen.EDIT1 - Detail comparison against the DQ6 and ZEX Pro - The Zero wins (barely) against the DQ6 and loses (again barely) against the Zex Pro. But the tonality is better than both. Timbre is slightly less natural on the Zero, and the Zero may be more uncomfortable due to perpendicular edges in the shells. Vs. Moondrop CHU Some of the competitors in this price range include the KZ ZST X, the CCA Lyra, and the BLON BL03. While these earphones are also popular in their respective price ranges, the Salnotes Zero is definitely a step above in terms of sound quality and overall value. Pros and Cons: What makes these IEMs stand out is that they are tuned by Crinacle, a very popular YouTube reviewer who recently broke his silence on this collaboration project in his video. Let's dive into the details and find out if the 7HZ Salnotes Zero is worth the hype. Design and Build Quality:

The midrange is slightly recessed. The lower mids are warmed by the aforementioned mid-bass bleed, adding some heft and density to the note weight. The Tangzu x HBB Wu Heyday Edition IEMs – a collaboration with prominent reviewer Hawaii Bad Boy– followed after the resounding success of the original Zetian Wu IEMs. I have been in the hobby for over 9 years now. Have owned or briefly auditioned (and given away to family/friends) a bunch of IEMs; E10c, Re-400a, Dunu Titan 1 (aka Fiio EX1), Beyerdynamic Byron, Audio Technica IM-70, Blon BL-03 and the Final E3000. One of the most impressive aspects of the Salnotes Zero is its soundstage. It has a wide and spacious soundstage that creates an immersive listening experience. You can feel like you are sitting in the middle of all the artists, and they are all playing just for you. The soundstage is so well-defined that it can even make some songs sound better than they did before. For instance, when listening to Teri Fariyad by Rekha Bhardwaj and Jagjit Singh, the soundstage is so wide and open that it almost feels like the performers are in the room with you. The soundstage is one of the best we have experienced at this price point, and it's a testament to the quality of the Salnotes Zero. Imaging: The product is returned in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer's box, MRP tag intact, user

The treble on the Mangird Top is extended and airy, but it's not too bright or harsh to my ears. This makes the IEM sound very open and spacious. The treble is also very detailed and can hear all the high-frequency details in your music. The housings utilize a dual cavity chamber within an acoustic cavity, within which a PET dynamic driver with an N52 magnet is the heartbeat of these IEMs. The shells have ‘L’ and ‘R’ lettering to delineate the left and right sides of the earpieces, respectively. The CHU come with a non-detachable cable, which may be a deal-breaker for some. The fit is also iffy, as the earpieces tend to drop out of the ears, with the fixed cables tending to yank them out. Tips are the same as the ones that come with the Dioko. EDIT: Except that the Dioko comes with an additional single medium sized pair of clear tips. I'm trying the Spinfit CP100, but the red tips that were included are fine. I like having that extra bit of comfort that Spinfit provides. :-) Nozzles are short, so plan accordingly if you intend to use aftermarket tips. Better dynamics. Quieter instruments and voices don't get lost or drowned easily (post EQ), unless they are outside the E3000's inherent frequency range of course. The soundstage is decently wide, though depth and height are below average. Micro-detailing, instrument separation, and clarity lose out to competitors. Imaging and layering are acceptable, though the intimate soundstage might make music congested, especially when it comes to fast or complex songs.

The shells are light and ergonomic, and I experienced no discomfort with long listening sessions. Tangzu says the Wan’er housing was designed based on accumulated data from many ears, and perhaps this is no hyperbole. There’s a concha protrusion to add additional grip during usage. Technicalities and resolution are better on the CHU, but they are markedly more sibilant. The CHU’s timbre sounds very nasal and unnatural compared to the more organic-sounding Wan’er. Where to Buy balanced tuning. Couldn't find a single genre which does not sound good with this IEM. It reminds me of the TinnHIFI P1 Max Panda (Planar), very similar tuning. The Zero is a fantastic product "for the price". The linearity, presentation, detail and extension on both ends are commendable. When pitched against a higher tier it WILL begin to show flaws. The soundstage is confined/intimate/narrow, instrument separation is mediocre, layering is poor, metallic/artificial timbre on instruments, generally less refined sounding (artifacts can be noticed when you compare against a higher tier like say, the E3000). I know that's an unfair comparison but just goes to show these are NOT giant-killers by any stretch of imagination!

CX180 got much better sub bass it's clean and hits hard and CX180 mids are much better they sound natural Burn-in: About 70hrs. (I'll update the review if I notice an improvement, say after 200hrs of use).
