You can just sew a regular stitch to keep the fabric from fraying. For the wrist slits I sewed a pattern for decoration. Do whatever you want! Now, to make the mask, I did the same ridiculous thing where I laid the fabric over his head and I thought about the ghost tip on top, and where the face would go to the sides and I used a marker to mark where the eyes would go. Then a straight line for the placing of the mouth. Costumes shouldn’t contain any weapons or anything that looks like it could be mistaken for an actual weapon. Obviously fake swords are fine, but anything that looks like a gun? Don’t even go there. I’m a huge fan of Disneybounding, and the Oogie Boogie Bash costume rules give you more freedom than usual here. What I love about Oogie Boogie Bash is that it’s one of the only times you can dress up like your favorite characters.
