The COOLPIX L840 is a bit bigger all around than the version it replaces, and it weighs just a tiny bit longer. Factor at the four AA batteries along with a card and you are carrying 538 g. Therefore, if you’re searching for something which’s light and compact, the L840 is not it. It is a small little smaller than the PowerShot SX530 HS. However, it weighs almost a hundred g (three and a half oz ) more.
