About this deal
The camera uses an electronic shutter over 1/500s, which is worth noting when shooting in artificial light. The shutter is very quiet. The screen is very clear and has good viewing angles, with additional controls that can be found on the screen. The Panasonic Lumix DC-GX800 maximum shutter speed is 60 seconds and there's also a Bulb option for exposures up to 4 minutes long, which is excellent news if you're seriously interested in night photography. The shot below was taken using a shutter speed of 60 seconds at ISO 200. The camera takes the same amount of time again to apply noise reduction, so for example at the 15 second setting the actual exposure takes 30 seconds. shutter speed is 60 seconds and there's also a Bulb option for exposures up to 4 minutes long, which is excellent news if you're seriously Recording stops when the continuous recording time exceeds 5 minutes with [MP4] in [4K] More impressive selfies with advanced Self Shot modes
The Panasonic Lumix GX880 (also known as the Lumix DC-GF10 in Asia) is a new entry-level mirrorless camera. While Panasonic was the first company to make a compact system camera with the G1 in 2008, in the intervening years it’s not really settled on any specific kind of design. The LUMIX GX Series is known for providing a variety of unique functions to enjoy taking selfies and the new GX880 is no exception. A richer variety of in-camera beauty functions and airbrush effects enable users more creative control over their portraits. Using the remote control, it is possible to capture selfies while jumping with the Jump Snap function. The smartphone held by the subject detects when they are at the highest position and the camera automatically releases the shutter. Dials and buttons are kept to a minimum for this camera. On the right hand side of the top plate there’s a mode dial for switching between the various exposure modes which the camera offers. Despite the fact that this camera is aimed at beginners, it’s possible to shoot in manual and semi-automatic modes. You’ll also find options such as automatic, scene, panorama and digital filters. Above: Here’s two more examples shot with the Dynamic Mono effect which I found delivered a very pleasing high-contrast monochrome style with no effort. Therefore we're going to direct your attention to our detailed Panasonic Lumix DC-GX800 review if you want to learn everything else there is to know about the new GX880.
Panasonic has some of the most interesting and most attractive digital filters currently available on the market, with a wide range of choice available. It’s worth experimenting with these to see if any take your fancy, but it will of course be down to personal preference. One of the best things about the filters is that you can shoot a raw format version of the image, leaving with you a clean version should you need it. The Panasonic Lumix GX880 continues to feature a 16 million pixel Four Thirds sensor, a flip-up 1040k-LCD screen, Wi-Fi connectivity and a range of 4K Video and Photo modes.
