I was interested to read this book as my grandfather was in the Special Boat Service (SBS) during WWII and had been in Sicily. That's all I knew. Like many other men from that era who had survived war, he would never talk about it. In Love and War is a Hallmark Hall of Fame TV movie, directed by John Kent Harrison.
