About this deal

The Juice Boom Pro XL can be used at home, in the garden, well basically anywhere! It has been developed to an IPX5 rating, which means this speaker is fully splash proof (even powerful water jets!) so ideal for holidays and outdoor use. With a Bluetooth wireless range of 10 metres (33ft) it makes this speaker suitable for chilling, parties, camping, picnics and so much more. The Boom Pro XL keeps your tunes playing wirelessly, simply fully charge this speaker in 4 hours and stay powered for over 18 hours – all on a single charge! In the review, we have the Juiceboom Pro Bluetooth speaker. This is the bigger brother of the Juiceboom 360 we recently reviewed.

So overall, would I buy this speaker? I would say yes it’s not very expensive and if you’re looking for a speaker that has a rugged feel that can be used vertically or horizontally and has a decent sound profile for the cost of the speaker. This speaker won’t replace your home audio system but it’s great when you’re down the park or chilling on the beach. Apart from that if you want a speaker for your staycation on a budget price give the JuiceboomPro a try! I also listen to a regular podcast on the speaker and it worked very well there no dropouts and the vocals come across nice and clear and at times I thought I had a more expensive speaker. Accessories wise you get the USB-C charge cable and a fabric carry case when you’re not using the speaker. It’s a nice addition as am all about keeping my tech safe when not in use. When you turn the speaker on you will also see an LED that is embedded in the rubber cover. This is a Blue light when you turn the speaker on and it flashes when you go into pairing mode.

Sound quality for the JuiceBoom Pro offers a beefy bass but the mid-range is slightly off. If the volume at max the sound can be a little muddled and can become a little distorted. The fact it comes with an IPX7 rating means you can take this speaker to the beach, away on holiday (When we are allowed to do so) and is a good size meaning it’s nice and portable. I also liked the addition of being able to use my smart assistant when listening to my music. The 2x 5-watt speakers and cylindrical design allow for a 360 degree sound experience as you can use this speaker either vertical as the speaker is placed on one of the rubberised ends or you can have it horizontal but it does not affect the sound as you have a raised rubber base. The Juiceboom Pro is a cylindrical, ruggedised design that has a fabric material that goes around the whole speaker. On each end of this speaker you have rubber end caps that are shaped to allow you to stand this speaker up.

The Juice Party Pro XL can be used at home or outdoors. With a Bluetooth wireless range of 10 metres (33ft) you can stay connected easily. Making this speaker not just perfect for parties, but also suitable for camping, picnics and so much more. The Party Pro XL keeps your tunes playing wirelessly. Fully charge this speaker in 4 hours and stay powered for up to 6 hours – all on a single charge! Inside that cover, you have the USB-C port for charging, AUX cable if you want that wired connection when Bluetooth is not an option. You also have an SD card slot which I found quite hardy as you can store a load of music on an SD card and that way you won’t need to use your phone for its music streaming service if you did not want to. The fact it comes with IPX5 means it can even handle the odd pool splash if you’re using it by the outdoor pool we all got in that heatwave. I would have preferred some colour choices in the speaker but that might come in time. I would have also liked to have been able to connect to a second speaker for that stereo sound. The Juice Bass Speaker performs quite well considering the cost. It has a nice balanced sound without any significant distortions when listening to music. It offered a nice level of bass without feeling overbearing due to the use of the subwoofer. When you pair the second Juice Bass it adds to the overall sound and offers that immersive sound. I found it was nice to have in the garden as it offered that stereo sound you want when you have guests over. Battery wise you get a 2200 mAh which offers 14 hours of battery life and Juice is true to their word when testing the speaker I gave it a full charge which took about 2.5 hours and then timed my usage with this speaker and got the 14 hours of battery life they said. When you start eating into the battery life you will be able to see the amount of battery life left indicated by the number of LEDs on. When reviewing this speaker I noticed its very similar design to another outdoor speaker I reviewed a few months ago the JBL Flip 4.
