Jam Classic 2.0 review | What Hi-Fi? Jam Classic 2.0 review | What Hi-Fi?

August bluetooth - decent quality and bass, however distorts at fairly low volumes making it a no go. Similar to the sharkk in size, weight and sound. The item being sold here is most probably a fake of the original HDMX JAM P230 Bluetooth portable wireless speaker which is curently out of production by the actual maker "HoMedics house". The complete charging takes about 3 hours and the portable speaker after being fully charged has a run time of about 2 hours after which it abdruptly stops working. As such, it’s more likely to find favour in a smaller bedroom or kitchen than a living room; view it as an addition to your speaker options. But it is not the ultimate solution.

The feature list, as you may guess given its teeny dimensions, is pretty short. An aux-in compliments the Bluetooth ability and – according to the web – offers up to 12 hours replay, compared with five hours max from a wireless connection. I have been using this item for about month now and this is after a months of use that I am giving this review. Alpatronix. In expanded form, it has a very nice sound and covers both high and low ends really well, with a very nicely developed sound. When I first played it, I thought it was weak until I read the user manual which indicated the speaker turns on at mid volume and that you can increase it to full volume with the little knob that controls most of the functions. Can't believe this little thing makes such big sound!Xmini - bluetooth drops easily. by far the lightest and smallest and has good sound for it's size but little bass and not too loud. If you want portability and lightweight this is the way to go. The alpatronix is small too but heavier. pricey at 40 for what you get. Having tested them, I thought I would post my review here in the hopes that it would clear out doubts for others. Here are the results of my testing. In each category, I have ranked them 1-5, with 1 being my favorite, and 5 being the least favorite: Accessories. The sound is as loud as the HMDX JAM. But the positives stop here. It just covers the highs, and nothing of the lows. No bass at all, and screeching at full blast!

HMDX JAM. The sound is louder in this speaker. This must be due to the bigger size, which means a bigger and wider speaker in the device. However, I didn't like the bass level relative to the volume level, and the weight and size are a big negative.

HMDX jam bluetooth - third place - sounds awesome, it's the loudest of all tested as well. great bass and does not distort much even at the loudest volume. nice, solid weight. However a constant buzzing/fuzzy noise made this a no go. would be my second favorite if it didn't have the buzz. well priced at 35. For it’s price the JAM 2.0 Classic is a dinky way to improve upon the performance of the speaker systems in phones and tablets. Kinivo wired - not very loud but otherwise great sound. nice bass, clear highs. distorts a little at max volume. cool looking. great value at 20
