I bought this because the WL-20 and the WL-20-L were not available. I do not regret it! I use it at home and in the rehearsal room, to get rid of the guitar cable. I was fed up getting my feet caught every time in the cable - now with the WL-50 it feels so good. Instead of the little dongle on the amp side (WL-20), I have now the small WL-50 box (even if I do not use a pedal board) standing at the side of the amp, with a 1 m cable to connect the box to the amp. To recall: the "Input" connector is only used when you connect the guitar by cable and do not use the wireless. Another handy little feature on the transmitter of the WL-50 is that there’s a tiny on/off button that’s depressed when plugged into a guitar input. The auto-pairing feature on the WL-20 and WL-50 is really handy for plug and play, but for some users looking to utilise multiple units in their band, it can be easier to know specifically which channel each player is on. These figures will vary depending on the actual conditions of use. With cable tone in the OFF position, the WL-50 is suitable for use low impedance sources such as guitars with active preamps. This is the same as the WL-20L. You can use the switch to select OFF, SHORT (characteristics of a cable of approx. 3 meters), and LONG (characteristics of a cable of approx. 6 meters).when the receiver is off you can't fully insert the transmitter into the receiver for storage without draining the transmitter's battery. I solve this by not inserting the transmitter all the way into the receiver so no big deal, but still… A WL-20 system is literally as simple to use as a standard guitar cable. The small transmitter plugs into your instrument, while a matching receiver plugs into a pedal or amp. That’s it!
