What a wonderful economic heater. I've tested several supposed economical heaters that are supposed to saves you money but i can't see how when they run a 750 watt to 1.2kw now this heater that I'm reviewing does just they samebut only uses 400 or 800 watts and the thing is at 400 Watts it heats up a 12ft by 15ft room starting temperature of 18c° and after 4 minutes it reaches 20.2c° at only 400watts well what difference in cost with my fridge freezer and others miner electrical items all on at the same time the total power consumption was 15.7p kw compared with other eco heaters the cost was 20.9p kw. I also experimented with the Igenix 800W Halogen Heater using green house technology i used a USBMAINS 5.5v fan and placed it higher on a shelf switched the the fan on this I want to drop a few 800w and 3kw heaters into a couple of shops to help with the cold weather but the supplied cable is only about 1m/1.5m long, not nearly long enough. Because halogen bulbs do not emit smoke, the heaters produce no carbon monoxide emissions which is the main concern in these times of climate change.
