The beginning of the trilogy introduces Raquel Mendoza, a girl stalker (according to his own words) of his neighbor Ares. This is the second of the three children of the Hidalgo couple, a wealthy family that owns a technology company and a mansion. In contrast, she must work at a Mc Donald's while completing her senior year of high school to help her mother (a nurse).

Consequently, he decides to commit to loving her more seriously despite not being sure he can keep her promise.
