About this deal

A very likeable romance premised on double fake dating, which is to say they each have to be the other's faux-partner for different reasons and in different circumstances. One of which is 'hero needs a girlfriend to get a chance at partnership in his law firm'. I have to admit that I struggle with this particular premise, partly because I cannot conceive of an employer giving a monkey's about any of their employees having a personal life, and also because I can't help feeling that a law firm in particular would be aware of the issues re denying advancement opportunities to single staff in a "massive lawsuit waiting to happen" way, but whatever.

The Worst Best Man: A Novel - Mia Sosa - Google Books

Overall I really enjoyed my first Mia Sosa book, and loved the characters, so bring on the wedding crasher! Listen, there are different ways of getting closure and one of those ways might be to make someone miserable for the sake of satisfying your petty soul.” The Worst Best Man is, quite frankly, pure gold and I'm almost certain I hyperventilated from all the feels. Also, Lucy wrote an extended epilogue which is free on book funnel! Soon Lina and Max discover animosity may not be the only emotion creating sparks between them. Still, this star-crossed couple can never be more than temporary playmates because Lina isn’t interested in falling in love and Max refuses to play runner-up to his brother ever again... Frankie: "Not to worry, Margie. Your odds are still excellent for luring him into your Venus Fly Trap vag."Lei è l'unica figlia femmina dei Baranski, un po' di sangue italiano nelle vene, cresciuta nella gastronomia di famiglia e con sogni manageriali.

Just weeks away from ditching DC for greener pastures, Solange Pereira is roped into helping her wedding planner cousin on a random couple’s big day. It’s an easy gig... until she stumbles upon a situation that convinces her the pair isn’t meant to be. What’s a true-blue romantic to do? Crash the wedding, of course. And ensure the unsuspecting groom doesn’t make the biggest mistake of his life. This book follows the love story between Carolina, a wedding planner who was left at the altar, and Max, the brother of the runaway groom. In that sense, it's your basic hate-to-love trope that we all love and much. We get all those good rom-com tropes that are overdone but so incredibly entertaining. The hate to love, the awkward situations, the one bed, the crazy yet lovable family. Also, Brazillian culture! Our hero knew that getting into this ‘marriage’ wasn’t going to be a traditional one. It was one of convenience. It would help with the job. They had certain things in common, it would have been a surface level relationship with no feelings involved. All because he lived in a rigid-like way and had goals to achieve. Lina is a wedding planner who was left at the alter at her own wedding. Now, she has to work with her ex-fiancée’s brother, Max, because it’s an opportunity that could change her career/ life.Their romance story is slowly build up. Miss Score adding many layers/ plots to the story. The secondary characters also play important part building into the climax. I do admire how miss Score creates real supporting character into secondary characters. What make me deduct 1 star is the length of this book. Its too dragging in some part with un necessary drama.
